Nomad is a premium travel accessories brand running on a headless Shopify storefront. During my engagement at The Form Factory, I was responsible for managing the ongoing development relationship: backlog prioritization, stakeholder communication, sprint planning, and outcome tracking.
This was a fast-moving account where priorities shifted frequently. My job was to keep the team focused on what actually moved the needle — and to give Nomad's product team a reliable point of contact who understood both their business goals and the technical constraints.
Nomad's PM came with a long, unranked list of requests that spanned UX improvements, new features, performance fixes, and integrations. My first job was to bring structure: work with their team to understand business priority, translate that into a ranked backlog, and give the dev team a clear sprint-by-sprint execution plan.
I ran weekly calls with Nomad's internal PM to review progress, surface blockers, and align on upcoming priorities. This created a feedback loop that kept both teams aligned and reduced the back-and-forth that typically eats into delivery time.
Gabriela made our dev relationship run smoothly. She kept the team focused, our backlog sane, and always came to calls prepared with the right context.Nomad via The Form Factory · 2022
Over the 5-month engagement, the focused execution against a properly prioritized backlog produced measurable outcomes across Nomad's core e-commerce metrics. A +25% improvement in conversion rate and a -15.6% reduction in bounce rate weren't accidents — they were the result of disciplined prioritization and consistent delivery.
By keeping the team aligned on high-impact work and reducing churn from unplanned scope changes, we were able to ship meaningful improvements every sprint rather than getting stuck in endless planning cycles.
Whether you need an ops leader, a project partner, or someone to run the machine — I'm available for the right opportunity.
